The course is intended to assist Safety, Health and Environmental Representatives understand their roles and functions as to how the Occupational Safety and Health legislation will influence health and safety outcomes in their workplace. The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to fulfil their role as Safety, Health and Environmental Representatives.

Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment
This course is designed to provide a methodology for identifying hazards and implementing controls. Participants will acquire the knowledge and skills required to identify hazards in the work place and prevent potential accidents. This course provides an understanding of the formal processes required to identify, control and monitor hazards in the work place.

Incident / Accident Investigation
This course aims to enable participants to collect and evaluate information relating to workplace incidents and determine their causes so that work systems can be improved to ensure management can meet its responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workplace.
